I thought long and hard about mixing sales in any way with this message board. I have come to the conclusion that there are many tools available that can be offered for sale to help people find some peace and comfort and cope with PTSD. I will be offering such items as books, tapes, and CD's initially.

You are always welcome on this board and on this site, even if you never buy a thing. The board itself is not, and has never been, about sales.

Within the next few weeks, An Eagle's Charms will be offering six different support coins plus a support/recovery card to go with them. These are good to carry for a reminder that you are not alone, that you have the strength to go on, and that there is hope. I say these things a lot, but in coping with PTSD or with accompanying conditions or addictions, a tangible reminder of how things can be in the future is often a great help. When things start going wrong, such a reminder can help to get you back on the right path.

Carrying a coin or card might not be your way to go about going forward. Whether it is or not, always remember that there can be a better life for you than you are living now. Life does not have to mean constant pain and sorrow. If you can, talk to someone. It will feel like the most difficult thing to do at first, but it will get easier. You should not have to carry all of this by yourself. There are caring people out there to help you, whether in a group, or just in one-on-one conversation.

Just added in An Eagle's Charms' store are 6 new pewter coins, each with a prayer/encouragement card. These coins are great gifts for or from those being deployed. They also are great motivators for those who need encouragement or are in recovery.
