Our Marines and other troops do not have proper padding in their helmets for the type of explosions many of them unfortunately experience. This war is geting to be known for its head injuries, some/many of which can be prevented. Operation Helmet provides helmet padding kits to troops (one-by-one) in Afghaistan and Iraq, at no charge to the troops.

There are two types of helmets and padding upgrades - heavyweight $99.00 and lightweight $71.00 per kit. If you can't afford to fund one of these, other donations are taken as well.

Individuals can make donations or can get involved helping in other ways. There are matching donation programs available, too. This is a great individual, church or corporate project!
